Aarebirin Hon. Princess (Dr.) Folashade Olabanji-Oba, the Executive Vice Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, has extended warm birthday wishes to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Leader, Chief Mrs. Olajumoke Okoya-Thomas, on the occasion of her birthday.
In her heartfelt message, the ALGOVC National Chairman described the former house of representative member as a beacon of inspiration. Stating she is a strong pillar of support to women within and outside the APC. She commended her unwavering dedication to empowering and advancing the party’s women. She further notes that her leadership has brought significant progress and unity to the APC women’s wing.
Furthermore, Aarebirin recognized Okoya – Thomas as strength of women. “As the dauther of Asoju Oba of Lagos, Okoya – Thomas has never failed Lagos,” She said.”Your selflessness, strength, and passion for championing the cause of women in our party are truly admirable,” Aarebirin stated. “As you celebrate this special day, I pray for continued wisdom, good health, and divine favor in all your endeavors.”
Aarebirin further highlight some of the former MHR achievement as primarily on the Social Development of Women and Children. “Because of her love for women and children, while in office, she sponsored a bill on the compulsory breast feeding of babies. She is a true mother,” Folashade said.
Aarebirin also expressed gratitude for Okoya-Thomas’s exemplary leadership, which has not only strengthened the party but also inspired countless women to actively participate in politics and leadership.
“May your new year bring you more milestones and joy as you continue to impact lives positively,” she concluded.
