Dr. Godfrey Bawa, Executive Chairman, DUNCAN Group, Passes Away | ClipTV Online

The Executive Chairman of DUNCAN Group of Companies, Dr. Godfrey Bawa, has passed away.

A statement released by his family on Monday, through Mr. Larry Bawa, confirmed that he died in the early hours of Sunday in Abuja after a brief illness.

Duncan Group Chairman, late Dr. Bawa is a native of Kwande, Quaan-Pan Local Government Area of Plateau State, was widely known for his philanthropic contributions and national service.

“With a heavy heart and total submission to the will of Almighty God, the family of Late Mr. Peter Bawa Shitgurum of KWO Chiefdom regret to announce the passing unto glory of its son, Dr. Godfrey Bawa Shitgurum.”

Dr. Bawa was a distinguished philanthropist and recipient of the National Honour of Member of the Order of the Niger (M.O.N.) for his service to the nation.

He is survived by his wife, Bishop Tina Bawa, children, a grandchild, and siblings.

The family stated that burial arrangements will be announced in due course.
