Fidelity Bank Plc is set to host the Lagos edition of its Quarterly Business Forum, bringing together entrepreneurs, industry experts and other stakeholders. Owing that businesses are built to compete, the forum will explore strategies for improving business competitiveness and achieving sustainable growth.
The forum, themed “Built to Compete: Positioning Lagos Businesses for Sustainable Growth,” will focus on access to finance, market expansion, innovation, digital transformation and strategies for building sustainable businesses.
Speaking ahead of the event, Ugochi E. Osinigwe, Divisional Head, SME Banking at Fidelity Bank Plc, said the forum would provide an opportunity for the bank to engage entrepreneurs, understand their business needs and equip them with practical insights for growth.
“Businesses need more than capital to thrive. They require knowledge, structure, networks and the right strategies to compete and grow sustainably,” Osinigwe said.
She added that the forum would enable entrepreneurs to learn from experienced business leaders, exchange ideas and identify practical opportunities to strengthen their businesses.
According to the bank, the initiative builds on its small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) support programmes, including masterclasses and advisory services covering pricing, digital growth, business structure, trade and market expansion.
The Quarterly Business Forum serves as a platform for entrepreneurs, business leaders, policymakers and industry experts to share knowledge and discuss business growth, innovation and sustainability.
Fidelity Bank said the initiative reflects its commitment to supporting small and medium-sized businesses through tailored financing, capacity building, advisory services and knowledge-sharing opportunities.
The bank currently serves more than 10 million customers through digital banking channels and 255 business offices in Nigeria, alongside its United Kingdom subsidiary, FidBank UK Limited.
