Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GTCO) has confirmed its sponsorship of the NPA Lagos International Polo Tournament which will happen at Lagos Polo Club Ikoyi between February 4th and 23rd in 2025.
Nigeria observes an annual tournament that serves as a primary sporting and social tradition which commands spectators from top-flight teams and enthusiastic attendants. Last year’s six-chukkas tournament saw Leighton Kings beat Art Hotel Shoreline to keep the Majekodunmi Cup but the 2025 edition will raise the level of excitement further.
Players and spectators will have an opportunity to watch high-ranking matches compete for both the Open Cup and Majekodunmi prizes during the 18-day tournament schedule. The third week of the tournament will showcase the Low Cup at its peak alongside the running Silver Cup throughout the entire competition period.
Through GTCO the organization focuses on delivering exceptional services while maintaining an active investment in community development.
Speaking on the sponsorship, GTCO Group Chief Executive Officer, Segun Agbaje, remarked:
