In a unique turn of events, the Yemisi Shyllon Museum of Art (YSMA), Pan-Atlantic University, hosted a delegation of the Board of Trustees and the Governing Council of the Eko Tourism Foundation (ETF) on May 11, 2026. The Vice-Chancellor of Pan-Atlantic University, Prof. Enase Okonedo; the Grand Donor and Chairman of the YSMA Supervisory Council, Prince Yemisi Shyllon; the Museum Director, Dr. Jess Castellote; and other distinguished stakeholders from the university and the museum received the delegates led by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Eko Tourism Foundation and former Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.

The visit included a screening of a documentary on YSMA’s educational programs within the Ibeju-Lekki community, a guided tour of the museum’s collections, and a discussion of the museum’s vision and impact. During the engagement, Alhaji Lai Mohammed also donated copies of his recent book, Headlines & Soundbites: Media Moments that Defined an Administration, to the Pan-Atlantic University Library. The books were formally received by the Vice-Chancellor on behalf of the university community.
