Unity Bank Plc has projected a gross earnings target of N27 billion for Q4 2024. Continuing its profitable momentum with a forecasted Profit After Tax (PAT) of N4 billion.

These figures were disclosed in the bank’s latest earnings forecast, which was released to the Nigerian Exchange Group.

The projected gross earnings reflect a slight increase from the N26 billion anticipated for Q3 2024. Despite the modest rise, the bank remains optimistic, forecasting a pre-tax profit of N4.2 billion. This indicates a stable profitability outlook amid challenging economic conditions.

A detailed analysis of the earnings forecast reveals that the lender anticipates a rise in interest income, climbing from N23 billion in Q3 to N24.5 billion in Q4.

Furthermore, net revenue is expected to grow marginally by 1.0%, from N6.5 billion in Q3 to N7.2 billion in Q4 2024. Unity Bank’s projected net operating income stands at N12 billion, while its cash flow from financing activities is forecasted to experience a 1.3% quarter-on-quarter increase, rising from N353.6 billion in Q3 to N481.4 billion in Q4.

This sustained increase in cash flow from financing activities demonstrates the bank’s robust liquidity position, a critical factor for continued business operations.

In the report, the bank emphasized its optimism in achieving these targets, provided no major disruptions arise in the operating environment under which the assumptions were made. Unity Bank also reaffirmed its commitment to offering top-notch customer-centric products, with a particular focus on enhancing its digital lending platform to ensure an improved customer experience.

Industry analysts view Unity Bank’s Q4 forecast as a reflection of steady growth, driven by key performance indicators. Also has strategic initiatives that have enabled the bank to navigate Nigeria’s challenging economic landscape effectively.
