39th Ayayo: Hon. Benson Champions Unity, Calls for Active Participation in Imota’s Progress | ClipTV Online

The Executive Chairman of Imota Local Council Development Area, Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele, has called for collaboration between the government and the people of Imota LCDA to promote meaningful and sustainable development.

Hon. Benson made this appeal during his speech at the grand finale of the 39th Anniversary of Imota Ayayo Day celebration, held at the mini-stadium on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

The Imota Ayayo Day celebration is an annual socio-cultural festival that has been taking place for over 39 years, showcasing the community’s rich cultural heritage and tourism potential.

Hon. Benson praised the sons, daughters, and residents of Imota for their support, cooperation, and peaceful coexistence. He encouraged them to continue supporting his government to bring more dividends of democracy.

He expressed gratitude to the people of Imota LCDA’s for their support and urged them to work together to foster development within the community. “With continued collaboration between the local government and residents, Imota LCDA is well-positioned for sustained growth and development,” he stated.

Hon. Benson also gave the assurance that more developmental projects would be initiated in the community in fulfillment of his campaign promises to the people of Imota LCDA.

He concluded his speech by thanking the traditional ruler and the planning committee for organizing a well-structured week-long festival.
