ASLAT Seeks LASG Partnership To End Inflation – www.cliptvonline.com ~

The Association of Lagos Artisans and Technicians (ASLAT) has sought the Lagos state government’s lasting partnership to patronize their goods and services in order to end any nigeria economic inflation.

The Executive Secretary for ASLAT, Mr. Akinyemi Adeshina made this known on Tuesday at the 3 years Anniversary celebration held at Teslim Balogun Stadium, that Taxes paid in the state is for the progress of the state and it could be generally and happily paid by the citizenry if the government does not discriminate but welcome everyone for inclusion in the governance.

He said therefore that government should follow up the campaign promises made to include the people in the governance during election exercise, that ASLAT has so many ways to contribute to the development of the country and generate the sum of 2 to 3 billion in the state if the state government could embrace artisans engagement & partnership on their local goods and services.

The executive secretary however advised the youths to embrace the habit of engaging in trade and artisanic jobs at least for 2 years and join hands with the government to move the state forward and alleviate poverty. He expressed further that so many youths today looked for fast money and that was the only thing that kept them away from hand work.

He appealed to the government to ensure that it fulfill her campaign promises too and patronise the youth and the people local goods and services not always on the importation of goods, as that goes a long way to save the country economy from the market inflation.

The President of ASLAT, Engr. Lawrence Ajayi expressed his joy over the anniversary and thanked every participant like Oil and Gas company at the event. Also commended chief Ayo Opadokun for his usual support so far .

The president described the Association as a group which works assiduously to identify projects that are economically viable to generate employment opportunities for all.

He thanked Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo Olu and the Deputy Governor in his welcome address speech for their ways of making good policies to move the state forward.
