Attack on Ovie Adjaroh as Narrated by a Neighbor | www.cliptvonline.com

I, a neighbor of Mr. Ovie Adjaroh (wish not to state my name for security purpose). I want to share this narrative as I witnessed it.

As aforementioned, I’m a friend and neighbor of Mr Ovie Andrew Adjaroh, the youth leader and coordinator of Labour Party (LP) Lagos chapter.

I am reporting an incident which occurred on the 7th of January 2022, at the residence of Mr Ovie Andrew Adjaroh, in about 1:30 to 2:00 am, we suddenly heard gun shots in the neighborhood, so I decided to look through the window and I saw about 8 gunmen with masks outside of Mr. Adjaroh compound.

Because I stayed opposite him, I could see detailed activities of these men, they opened fire in the compound and shortly forced their way into the building and later set the house on fire with one of his cars that was in the compound. I put a call through to Mr. Adjaroh to inform him of the ongoing activity in his house and warned him not to return home yet as this look quite serious.

Good thing that himself and his family weren’t at home that very day, maybe they would have been dead, although we spoke on phone around 10:00pm when he told me they were going for a vigil.

I called the police and the fire service, but unfortunately before the fire service arrived, the house and the properties were already down.

Please kindly render him assistant to enable him save his life and that of his family.
