The College of Medicine, University of Lagos (CMUL) 1969/74 set recently marked their 50-year post-graduation reunion, celebrating decades of dedication to medical education and healthcare. This event, which took place from September 6 to 7, 2024, brought together esteemed alumni, faculty, and staff for a series of memorable events.
CMUL Campus Visit and Donation
On Friday, September 6, the alumni visited the CMUL campus and Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), reflecting on their journey in medical practice. During the visit, they donated Information Technology systems to the Ameyo Adadevoh Reading Center, a gesture aimed at improving student learning and research capabilities. The donation was a testament to their continued commitment to the development of healthcare education.
CMUL Cocktail and Dinner
On Saturday, September 7, a cocktail and luncheon dinner was held at the Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos, where alumni reconnected, reminisced about their time in medical school, and celebrated their contributions to the medical profession over the past five years.
