As the sacred month of Ramadan draws to a close, heralding the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, Aarebirin Hon. (Dr.) Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba has extended her heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim faithful across Nigeria.
The Ikorodu Local Government chairmanship aspirant expressed gratitude to the Almighty for granting strength and perseverance to those who observed the month-long fast, emphasizing that the spiritual exercise has drawn many closer to God.
Hon. Olabanji-Oba, who also serves as the National Chairman of the Association of Local Government Vice-Chairmen of Nigeria (ALGOVC), urged Nigerians to sustain the transformative impact of Ramadan, noting that its lessons of discipline, selflessness, and devotion should continue to guide citizens beyond the period of fasting. She emphasized that fostering these virtues would attract greater blessings to individual family. Further noting that such blessings will then extend to Nigeria and contribute to the nation’s growth.
In her goodwill message, Aarebirin also prayed for peace, prosperity, and national development. Commending President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his efforts in stabilizing the economy and implementing policies geared towards long-term progress.
Furthermore, Aarebirin Olabanji-Oba called for peaceful coexistence and unity. She charged all Nigerians to see each other as one family irrespective of religious or ethnic differences. She emphasized the importance of tolerance, love, and mutual respect, urging citizens to work together toward a more harmonious and prosperous nation.
As the Muslim faithful celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, Dr. Olabanji-Oba prayed that the blessings of the season would bring renewed hope, strength, and divine favor to individuals, families, and the nation at large.
