My beloved Fellow Nigerians,

As we mark another milestone in our nation’s journey towards growth and unity, I, Aarebirin Hon. Princess Folashade Dr Olabanji-Oba, on behalf of the good people of Ikorodu and the Association of Local Government Vice-Chairmen of Nigeria (ALGOVC), extend my warmest wishes to every Nigerian on the occasion of our 64th Independence Day.

This day is a reminder of our strength in diversity. Also, our resilience in the face of challenges, and our collective commitment to building a prosperous nation. We have come a long way, and as we continue to push forward, let us renew our hope in a brighter future, one that promises unity, peace, and development for all.

As we celebrate, may we also reflect on the sacrifices made by our founding fathers, and recommit ourselves to the ideals of democracy, good governance, and the empowerment of every Nigerian, especially our women, youths, and children.

May the Almighty bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria and all her citizens. Happy Independence Day, Nigeria!
