Come 8th October 2023, it will be the 3rd Gospel Hymns and Songs birthday concert to celebrate the goodness of the Lord in the life of the phenomenal, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan. Committed to the worship of the Lord, Trek Africa Newspaper can reliably report that the minister of God in the marketplace continues to unashamedly proclaim ‘the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes’ as the Apostle Paul wrote to the ancient Roman church and indeed the contemporary Christian Church.

Through the annual Birthday Gospel Hymn Concert, the Chairman of Executive Group and Board member of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan leads other worshipers, irrespective of their religious affiliations, to rejoice and honor the Lord’s faithfulness to the children of men. The concert brings together many church choirs, community choirs, musical groups, and individual renditions.

Another highlight of the Concert is the Musical House of Ogunsan, a unique family in which every member has the unique ability to sing. It is uncommon Grace for the Ogunsan’s. From the father, Ayodele to the mother, Ajoke, and the three daughters – Mercy, Joy, and Oluwaseun, everybody is a lover of music and they can all sing well whether in solo, as a duet, or as a group.

Unveiling this year’s edition of the birthday concert, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan remarked: ‘It is another time to show our appreciation, it is another time to celebrate God. Grace has brought me to another milestone. It is my birthday.’
