NAOSNP Honours Prominent Security Expert, Ona Ekhomu with Posthumous Award • Conference holds Wed Nov. 10th

The National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) is set to honour late frontline Security guru, Dr. Ona Ekhomu, with a prestigious posthumous award.

According to the President of the association, Mr. Samson Oki, who made the disclosure, Ekhomu deserves every accolade for his selfless contributions to the security architecture of the Nigerian nation while he lived.

“When you write a list of prominent personalities, who have given their all to boost security in the country, Ekhomu’s name will be prominent among the elites. This is not just in name, but tangible deeds.

So we, at NAOSNP deems it fit to honour, especially given that he was one of those penciled down as guest speakers for the event before he passed on in August,” he said.

Meanwhile, the family of the Security expect has been contacted, they’re expected to be present to receive the award.

NAOSNP’s event, which is billed to hold on November 10, 2021, at NECA House, Ikeja, is themed A Nation Under Siege: Activating Technology and Local Intelligence to Solve Conundrum.

Already, Nigeria’s Security agencies have given their consent to participate at the event as two former IGPs, Sir Mike Okiro and MD Abubakar, have been shortlisted as the guests speakers.

Other prominent attendees, who will be sharing their wealth of security experience are Spokespersons of notable Security agencies in the country.

The event promises to be a record for conferences and awards.
