Parents to Foster Closer Relationships with Children – ‘Ladies of the Fellowship’ | ClipTV Online

In today’s world parentage has been delegated to schools and religious organizations. Nevertheless, It is important for parents particularly mothers to take charge of nurturing and children upbringing.

This and many other challenges were addressed in this year ‘LADIES OF THE FELLOWSHIP’ seminar organized by the Full Gospel Business Men Fellowship International (South West 3 District), titled: HIS BANNER OVER US IS LOVE.

Cliptv Online can report the seminar featured a series of powerful speeches from notable women. It urged mothers to confront the challenges posed by contemporary society. The event also explored the significant roles women play both at home and in the broader community.

The guest lecturer, Mrs Ayodeji Megbope, CEO No Left Over Nig. Ltd., incite the audience to look out for the good in the world, most importantly to sow the right seed.

Megbope expand on this by sharing how she started are ‘No Left Over’ company with only a thousand naira. She underlined that the top is free and getting there will require the best of attitudes.

The motivational speaker shared series of both positive and negative stories that hinder the progress of the women in the world today. One of the negative experiences is hearing a child telling someone “You are a product of broken condom”. “As an adult, I could not have imagined that”, Megbope, said.

This statement displays what such a child must have been learning from her parents or associated people.

She then encouraged her audience to associate themselves with right people. Yoruba maxim says “Eniyan laso mi, meaning people are my clothes”, she continued. She however, explained not just people but the right people, some people are rags and not clothes.

She explained that it’s crucial to choose supportive and positive individuals, as negative influences can be detrimental.

The orator counseled the audience not to accept whatever people say to them but decisively choose to love God and then other things can follow.

Mayokun Makanjuola, a husband to one of the speakers, while speaking with our correspondent underscored the importance of the message. He shared a number of things he has personally learned and to start practicing.

Some of the things mentioned include, mental health, parenting, and children relationship “I feel this Ladies of the Fellowship Conference has been impactful in many ways”. Mayaokun acknowledge.

He shared that mental health is something that a lot of people are dealing with and had to deal with, hence the exigency of this seminar and its message.

The South West 3 District Coordinator, Apostle Sunny Beyioku applauded the women.

“This women have thrived from different aspect of lives, arrived at the top-line of wealth”, he said. He proclaimed their growth is not on physical things only but also spiritual.

Beyioku underscored that despite the women’s material progress they love their husbands and are loved in return. He shared things he learned and confess his respect for women.

“The seminar has been impactful spiritually, mentally, and intellectually”, he concluded.
