Veritas-Eagles: Ex Late Akeredolu CPS Launches PR Consultancy | ClipTV Online

Richard Olatunde, former Chief Press Secretary to the late Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, has launched a public relations consultancy firm in Lagos.

Olatunde, who made the announcement in a statement personally signed by him, said he is bringing his years of professional experience into the spotlight.

He said: “I have been working with many individuals, political leaders, and organisations behind the scenes over the last two years, but it has become imperative that we officially come into the spotlight to join the eggheads in the industry to further redefine Public Relations management in the country.

“After years of shaping government narratives, managing media crises, and working closely with journalists, I’ve seen firsthand how poor communication damages credibility and how strategic storytelling builds trust.

Olatunde served as Chief Press Secretary to the late Ondo State Governor, Akeredolu, from March 2021 until his death in December 2023.

Before his appointment as Chief Press Secretary, he served as Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media. He was also the spokesperson for the Akeredolu/Aiyedatiwa campaign organisation in 2020.

He has worked in both print and broadcast organisations. He holds an MSc in Mass Communication and is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.
