Aarebirin Hon. Princess Dr. Folashade Olabanji-Oba Celebrates Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at 60

The National Chairman of the Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria (ALGOVC) and Executive Vice Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Aarebirin Hon. Princess Dr. Folashade Olabanji-Oba, has extended warm felicitations to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

In a congratulatory message released to ClipTV Online on Wednesday morning, Dr. Olabanji-Oba described Governor Sanwo-Olu as “a shining testament to the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

Reflecting on the Governor’s remarkable career in public service, she recalled his transformative tenure as Acting Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, where he played a key role in reforming Lagos’ budgetary systems and development frameworks.

“Governor Sanwo-Olu has served Lagos State diligently in various capacities — from Commissioner for Commerce and Industry to Commissioner for Establishments, Training and Pensions. In every office, he has demonstrated vision, competence, and a deep commitment to excellence,” she said.

Princess Folashade further described the celebrant as “a true leader, a loyal husband, and a loving father,” commending his people-focused approach to governance and consistent track record of development across sectors.

“At 60, Governor Sanwo-Olu exemplifies what it means to lead with purpose and integrity. His life and leadership continue to inspire many of us who serve at the grassroots and strive daily to emulate his dedication to public good,” she added.
