As economic challenges and growing concerns about child welfare continue to affect many families across Nigeria, Make It WOW Surprises has launched the seventh edition of its annual Children’s Day Fiesta, aimed at promoting happiness, inclusion, and social integration among children.

The event, organized by Make It WOW Surprises, a brand known for creating memorable experiences for birthdays and special occasions, was designed to provide a platform where children from diverse backgrounds can interact, learn, and celebrate together.

Speaking during the event, the organizer, Mr. Owolabi, said the initiative was conceived to ensure that children are not overlooked amid the pressures facing many households.

According to him, the Children’s Day Fiesta seeks to foster an environment where every child, regardless of economic status, intellectual ability, or physical condition, feels valued and included.

“The WOW Children’s Day Fiesta is to create an environment where all children, regardless of ability, disability, or background, have equal rights to everything,” Owolabi said.

He explained that the theme for this year’s edition, “The Gospel of Inclusion,” was carefully chosen to emphasize the importance of embracing every child, particularly those living with disabilities and other special needs.

“We want to ensure that no child is left out, especially special children and children living with disabilities. This event encourages interaction, friendship, and understanding among children while discouraging segregation and discrimination,” he added.

The event featured a variety of fun-filled activities aimed at promoting social bonding, creativity, and confidence among participants. Children from different communities and backgrounds participated in games, entertainment sessions, and interactive activities designed to strengthen relationships and promote inclusivity.

Parents, guardians, and coordinators of various children’s groups commended the initiative, describing it as a commendable effort toward supporting children and celebrating their unique abilities.

Many of the attendees praised Make It WOW Surprises for creating a safe and welcoming environment where children can interact freely and build meaningful connections irrespective of their differences.

The annual Children’s Day Fiesta has continued to grow in popularity over the years, serving as a platform for advocacy on child inclusion, equal opportunities, and the overall well-being of children in society. Organizers expressed optimism that the initiative would continue to inspire greater awareness and support for children of all abilities across the country.
