The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has congratulated Muslim faithful across Nigeria on the occasion of the 2026 Eid el-Maulud. This day commemorates the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Eid el-Maulud is recognized as a public holiday and has been celebrated for many years. Not only observe in Nigeria but the prophets birth celebration is across the globe.
The Commission therefore urged Nigerians to draw inspiration from the virtues of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). It specially preaches peace, compassion, and service to humanity, as essential values for fostering unity and national progress.
