The Arewa Community for All Progressive Congress, Lagos State has called for peaceful registration in the ongoind APC revalidating registration and National unity to Curb the conflict among Yoruba, herders and farmers.

The A.G Chairman for Arewa Community APC Lagos, Alhaji Sa’adu Yusuf Dandare disclosed this on Tuesday during the Press Conference held in Abattoir Agege area, that the leadership of Arewa must know that Nigeria is a Blessed country to have a good party like APC as they needed to know that they must all together join hands to do the needful to participate in the APC registration for the success of APC is their collective success.

Alhaji Sa’adu further said that Killing and Criminalism in the land of Nigeria is unconstitutional as the conflict s among Yoruba herders and farmers would amount to nothing but war that the Southwest leaders should do something to avert war and let all live in peace.

He expressed that the security threat issued by Sunday Igbowo has been put in consideration by the Arewa community to ensure that peace reign.

The Chairman of Voice of Arewa, Alh. Salisu Danjuma Gezawa stated in his address that in order to make peace work among the Nigerians, the Seriki Fulani actually has engaged in 2 weeks meeting with the leadership and farmers from the North to the Southwest over the herders conflict even as he was at Abeokuta on Tuesday to proffer lasting solution, he has visited Kwara, Ondo and Oyo States to achieve national peace. He stated.

The Arewa community however called for Government wise intervention to encourage no loss of life, property and business among the cattle bearers and the Yoruba.

The General Secretary of Cattle Dealers Association,of Abbatoir Seriki, Alh. Kabiru M. Abubakar in an interview provided that the Fulani’s are law abiding people that even repairs and mutual understanding have been made available to known damages among the farmers cattle bearers and Yoruba since about 50 years of residence in the land. While he however said the Governor of Kebbi, Jigawa and Ondo States have issued out a guidelines to the Fulanis that in one week every resident there be registered to know who are law abiding now so as to fish out the further perpetrators.

Others in attendance were State Women leader of Arewa, Hajia Asaba, Fatima Shatu, A.P to Speaker House of Repr. Abuja, Alh. Musa Sakaba, Comrade Muhammed Kudu Abubakar and State Secretary Arewa Community APC, Umar Adamu Daura.
