The earlier published information of the arrest of Hon. Fatiu Jimoh Salisu, was wrongly stated.

Further investigation has revealed that he was rather invited by the FCID Alagbon for questioning in relation to the confessional statement made by one of the cultists apprehended, Owolabi Sodiq Atunrashe who stated that Alh. Fatiu Jimoh Salisu mobilized and sponsored the attack on Hon. Onamade Oluwatosin.

We hereby apologize for the misconstrued of the situation. We reiterate that he was invited for questioning and not arrested.

However, investigation is still ongoing to establish the root of the attack on Onamade which led to the death of Mr. Ifeanyi Etunmuse Godfrey.
