Grand Celebration Marks One-Year Coronation Anniversary of HRM Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero, Ilufemiloba Olokojobi III, Aboro of Ibeshe Land

The picturesque town of Ibeshe was aglow with festivity as HRM Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero, Ilufemiloba Olokojobi III, the Aboro of Ibeshe land, marked the first anniversary of his ascension to the throne of his forefathers in a two-day celebration that captivated the community. The grandeur of the occasion was highlighted by the presence of distinguished monarchs from neighboring towns and villages, who gathered to honor and celebrate with the revered HRM.

The momentous event witnessed the installation of new chieftains, among whom were notable personalities like the former Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Suraj Ishola Adekunbi, who now bears the title of a Mayegun of Ibesshe Kingdom.

Another significant addition to the royal council is the newly appointed Akogun of Ibeshe land, Chief Faremi Amos Abiodun JP, a retired senior police officer. He expressed his commitment to upholding peace and harmony within the land, reflecting on his background in law enforcement. “I am to ensure there must be no war in the land,” he emphasized. “As a police officer, I have learned the importance of maintaining peace, and I am ready to implement those skills as the new Akogun of Ibeshe land.” He concluded with a heartfelt prayer for the monarch and the nation.

During the festivities, Oba Moruf Ayinla Awode Ololo of Ijomu Kingdom graced the event with his presence, offering blessings and prayers for HRM Aboru’s continued reign. He urged the people to support their monarch to usher in further development and urged the government to invest in infrastructure, particularly road improvements.

Oba Yisa Olusola Adeniyi Olaniyan, Onipokia of Ipokia Kingdom, shared his admiration for HRM Aboro, commending his love for his people. He expressed his hopes for a prosperous and wealthy era during his reign.

Oba James Ajibola Ajani, Ateposun I of Ipokia Local Government Area, Yewa, lauded HRM Rotimi Mulero’s commitment to development, a sentiment echoed by the Yewa Traditional Council that turned out in full support. Oba Ajani extended his wishes for decades of prosperous leadership and growth for the land.

The event garnered an impressive attendance, including dignitaries like Her Excellency Noimot Salako-Oyedele, Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Hon. Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, Mayoress of Ikosi Isheri LCDA, and her husband, as well as Hon. Tola Banjo. The gathering of kings and paramount rulers from across Ogun State further underscored the importance and significance of the celebration.
