The esteemed Oloto of Otto and Paramount ruler of Lagos Mainland, HRM Alayeluwa Oba Muh’bashir Abisoye Odesanya Olupejobi II, has issued a summons to all living descendants of the Olupejobi Branch for a significant meeting.
This call to assembly, conveyed by the Lisa of Otto and Lagos Mainland, Chief Francis Ishola-Oloto, serves as an invitation to members of the Olupejobi royal family to convene in a tradition of camaraderie, idea exchange, and the reinforcement of familial bonds. The forthcoming meeting presents a unique occasion for social interaction, the discussion of common interests, the sharing of experiences, and the exploration of collaborative opportunities.
Scheduled to occur on April 27th, 2024, at the Oloto’s palace, this gathering is an initiative spearheaded by the charismatic, humble, and profoundly insightful ruler, whose magnanimity, philanthropic deeds, sense of duty, familial affection, and commitment to royal obligations are exemplary.
Recalled that the traditional selection process that led to his ascension to the throne of his forefathers in 2022, HRM Alayeluwa Oba Muh’bashir Abisoye Odesanya’s installment as the Oloto of Otto received the endorsement of Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu. The momentous ceremony, executed by Hon. Bolaji Kayode Robert (Bibiire), SA to the Governor on Local Government and Community Affairs, aligned with the established declaration governing the selection of Obas in Lagos State.
The grandeur of the coronation event, which resonated globally and pervaded social media platforms, attracted an array of elite Yoruba traditional monarchs and High Chiefs, marking it as one of the most vibrant coronations in recent memory.
