Isẹ́sẹ̀ Day: Hon. Benson Ayodele Hails Rich Imota Heritage, Felicitates Community Leaders, Members | ClipTV Online

The Executive Chairman of Imota LCDA, Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele (BSA), has extended warm greetings to the traditional institution, led by HRM Oba (Dr.) Mudashiru Ajibade Bakare-Agoro, the Ranodu of Imota, Olufoworesete II, alongside the revered chieftains, custodians of culture, and all traditionalists in Imota LCDA, on the occasion of this year’s Isẹ́sẹ̀ Day celebration.

Hon. Ayodele described the annual Isẹ́sẹ̀ Day as “a wonderful opportunity for people to learn, appreciate, and promote our rich cultural heritage,” emphasizing its importance as a symbol of unity, identity, and spiritual preservation.

“Isẹ́sẹ̀ Day is not only a celebration of culture but also a reminder of our roots, an avenue to promote our traditions, and a thanksgiving to the Almighty and our ancestors for preserving our lives,” he stated.

He commended the peaceful conduct of residents during the festival, noting that their ability to live in harmony despite religious and cultural differences was a testimony to Imota’s values of tolerance and unity. He further assured residents of his administration’s unwavering commitment to creating a level playing ground for all, irrespective of religious affiliations.

Highlighting the significance of cultural preservation, Hon. Ayodele added that the traditions showcased during Isẹ́sẹ̀ Day reflect the creativity, artistry, and spiritual depth of the Imota community, stressing that these customs must be upheld for future generations.

The Council Boss urged all sons and daughters of Imota to continue to pray for peace, progress, and economic advancement of the LCDA and Nigeria as a whole.

“On this auspicious occasion, let us rededicate ourselves to harmony and communal growth. May Isẹ́sẹ̀ continue to guide, protect, and bless us all. Isẹ́sẹ̀ a gbe wa o. Ase,” he concluded.
