Service to others lead to greatness said Jim Rohn. This can be said of High Chief Asipa Kaoli Olatunji Olusanya. The road to Ibeshe was filled with cars as personalities of timbers and calibers troll to Ibeshe Ferry Terminal to witness the coronation of Asipa Kaoli Olusanya as the Asiwaju of Ibeshe Kingdom.

Olubeshe of Ibeshe Kingdom, Oba Richard Abayomi Ogunsanya noted, the Asiwaju of Ibeshe Kingdom seat has been vacant for over 25 years. However, Asipa Kaoli’s service to humanity especially in education has contributed to the honor witnessed today. Stating, “Kaoli has demonstrated the true spirit of leadership, he said.

The Olubeshe further said, “He has contributed to the development of Ibeshe Kingdom immensely. There has been several people for the Chieftaincy title in the past two and have decades but it has to be the right person,” he said.

Ikorodu Local Government Executive Vice Chairman, and National Chairman, Association of Local Government Vice-Chairmen of Nigeria (ALGOVC), Aarebirin Hon. Princess (Dr.) Folashade Olabanji-Oba qualifies Asiwaju of Ibeshe Kingdom as “a father to us all,” she said. She further note that he has been a mentor and a pillar of support to many he knows and, more he doesn’t know.

In addition, Aarebirin stated, it is a time to say thank you to Asiwaju Asipa Kaoli Olusanya confirment as the Asiwaju. That the coronation is a testament that service to humanity pays, “service has drawn to the High Chief greater opportunity to serve. Today is a day to say thank you for all good and wonderful job he has done,” she said.

The ALGOVC Chairman noted that “after four decades in this community (Ibeshe), HRM Oba Richard Ogunsanya said he cannot thank Kaoli enough, hence a reason for this honor,” she continued.

She further said, “this is a call for higher service,” noting that we all need to be our very best. “Grow where you are planted,” she concluded.

She therefore Prays that Almighty God will continually use Asiwaju for greater things especially in developing our community.

As Asipa Kaoli got  a new feather added to his cap, celebrations was witnessed all around the environs. In Attendance are: Hon. Justice Kazeem Alogba, Lagos State Chief Judge, MHR Babajimi Benson, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, Former Senator Ganiu Olanrewaju Solomon (GOS), and more.

The coronation also welcomed traditional rulers across Lagos State, including HRM, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, Ayangburen of Ikorodu Kingdom, HRM Oba Sulaiman Adeshina Raji-Ashade, Oniba Ekun of Iba Kingdom, HRM Oba Semiu Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo and many others.
