Lagos Police, Health Service Strengthen Ties, Boost Public Safety | ClipTV Online

CP Tijani Fatai, Health Service Commission Strengthen Safety and Health

The Lagos State Police Command and the Lagos State Health Service Commission have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening collaboration. This is aimed at improving security around healthcare facilities and enhancing public safety service delivery across the state.

The renewed commitment was made when the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, received the Chairman and members of the Lagos State Health Service Commission on a courtesy visit at the Command Headquarters in Ikeja.

The delegation was led by the Chairman of the Commission, Dr. Oguntimehin Olukayode, and included Dr. Ogboye Olusegun Abayomi, Dr. Odunuga Omolaja Olushola, Dr. (Pharm.) Mrs. Adejumo Moyosore Wuraola, and Dr. Mrs. Ololade Fadipe.

CP Tijani Fatai Strengthens Ties With Health Service Commission

Both institutions explored areas of mutual cooperation, with discussions focusing on enhancing police support for healthcare facilities, improving security within the health sector, and strengthening inter-agency collaboration to ensure efficient service delivery to residents of Lagos State.

Speaking during the visit, CP Tijani Fatai expressed appreciation to the Commission for the courtesy call and reiterated the Command’s commitment to sustaining partnerships with relevant government agencies in the interest of public safety and development.

The Commissioner noted that effective collaboration among public institutions remains essential to improving service delivery and safeguarding the welfare of residents.

He further assured the Commission of the Command’s continued support in ensuring a secure environment for healthcare facilities and personnel across the state.

The visit underscores the shared commitment of the Lagos State Police Command and the Lagos State Health Service Commission to fostering stronger institutional partnerships that will enhance healthcare service delivery and promote the overall well-being of Lagos residents.
