Urges Continued Excellence in Akwa Ibom

In a congratulatory message, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, a distinguished Board Member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), extends his heartfelt felicitations to Commissioner of Police (CP) Waheed Ayilara on his recent promotion and subsequent posting to head the Akwa Ibom State Police Command. This significant development follows CP Ayilara’s well-deserved promotion to the substantive rank of Commissioner of Police by the Police Service Commission.
Expressing his joy for CP Ayilara’s new role, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan emphasizes the need for the seasoned officer to bring his exceptional skills to bear in his responsibilities. “I celebrate with you, CP Waheed Ayilara, on your appointment and posting to Akwa Ibom State by the Police Service Commission following your recent promotion. It is great news to me, and I rejoice with you,” says Ogunsan.
Dr. Ogunsan, who also serves as the Chairman/CEO of Executive Group, commends CP Ayilara’s proven track record in law enforcement. “You have demonstrated your capacity in Lagos over the years. You are an excellent operational and crime-busting senior officer during your time as MOPOL 2 Commander and DC of State CID, Panti. You also demonstrated immense leadership and administrative capacity during your short stint as the acting CP of Lagos State Command. Your records are enviable, and several personalities are applauding you.”
Acknowledging CP Ayilara’s stellar achievements, Ogunsan praises him as a star and urges him to maintain his brilliance in his new role. “Sir, you are a star. You have shone in Lagos. Please keep shining in your new role in Akwa Ibom State. This is a great responsibility for you; please deliver to the best of your ability and God’s Grace. I trust that the Almighty God will be with you,” Ogunsan concludes.
This appointment marks a new chapter for CP Waheed Ayilara, and with the commendation and encouragement from Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, expectations are high for continued excellence in law enforcement in Akwa Ibom State.
