Osun 2026: Adeleke Defeats Oyebamiji, Secures Second Term Governor | ClipTV Online

Governor Ademola Adeleke has secured a fresh four-year mandate as the Governor of Osun State. He defeated his closest rival, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the just-concluded 2026 governorship election.

According to the final results, Adeleke, the Accord Party candidate, polled 511,067 votes to emerge victorious, while Oyebamiji of the APC scored 444,815 votes.

The result gives Adeleke a winning margin of 66,252 votes over his closest opposition and secures his continuation in office for another four years.

A total of 2,339,544 voters were registered for the election, while 1,010,684 voters were accredited. The election recorded 1,005,800 total votes cast, comprising 985,079 valid votes and 20,721 rejected ballots.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) recorded 17,180 votes.

The final results, therefore, stood as follows:

With the final declaration, attention will now shift towards the transition into Adeleke’s second term and the administration’s priorities for the next four years.
