Screening Scheduled From January 8 to 29, 2024, Emphasizes No Cost to Applicants; Warning Issued Against Fraudulent Activities
The Nigeria Police Force, acting on behalf of the recruitment board, announces the initiation of the physical/credentials screening for candidates aspiring to become Police Constables in the General Duty and Specialist Cadres of the force. The screening exercise will take place nationwide from January 8th to 29th, 2024, during which applicants will undergo scrutiny to verify their eligibility.
Shortlisted candidates must present the following documents at their designated venues: evidence of physical/mental fitness from a recognized government medical hospital, proof of good character from village/district heads, original and duplicate certificates of origin signed by the local government chairman or secretary, original and duplicate national identity card/slip, original and duplicate ‘O’ level result(s), birth certificate/declaration of age, print-out of the application form, completed guarantor’s form, and invitation slips.
The public, particularly applicants, are cautioned against engaging in criminal activities such as document falsification or forgery, as perpetrators will face arrest and prosecution according to the law. The Inspector-General of Police stresses that the application and selection process is free from any charges and will be conducted through official channels. Any attempts at fraud or exploitation of the recruitment process should be promptly reported for appropriate action.
