In a demonstration of compassion and empathy, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, representing Lagos East Senatorial District, marked his 60th birthday on Monday, March 25th, 2024, with a profound act of kindness towards vulnerable members of his constituency facing economic hardship.
Senator Abiru, known for his unwavering commitment to community welfare, expanded his ongoing support program by distributing 10,000 food packs to vulnerable households across the 98 wards in the 16 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) and Local Government Areas in Lagos East Senatorial District.

Expressing gratitude in his birthday message to Lagos East residents, Senator Abiru acknowledged the blessings bestowed upon him by the Almighty and thanked his wife, Fesyisola, and children for their steadfast support. He also extended appreciation to the people of Lagos East for entrusting him with the responsibility to serve, as well as to party leaders, notably President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for their invaluable guidance and support throughout his political journey.

In a departure from traditional birthday celebrations, Senator Abiru emphasized the importance of solidarity during challenging times, particularly amidst the prevailing economic hardships.
