St Leo’s Church Jubilee Celebration: Nigeria Rulers In Dire Need of Demonic Deliverance – Aniagwu – ClipTv Online ~

The governance of Nigeria leadership has been termed as no leadership but rulership which the rulers are in dire need of spiritual and demonic deliverance.

The Parish Priest of St. Leo’s Catholic church,Ikeja,Rt. Rev. Msgr. John Aniagwu made this known on Tuesday during a press conference held at church premises on the church 50th Anniversary celebration,that Nigeria rulers needed more prayers to yield to the demands of the people and free the government from demonic hostage.

Aniagwu expressed that government has refused to give the people a listening ears in the democratic society to respect all rights and not be one sided protection that should be likened to an American country where they protect their protesters with provision of good police each time they stage any protest in the country. while Nigeria here the government shoot at whoever stage a protest.

He said therefore that Nigeria government should be prayerfully inclined and have an attribute of leadership which would favour every human person and religion not the leadership that is devoid of greed,selfishness,Arrogance,insensitivity, lawlessness and must have respect for the rule of laws.

He explained that he would never stand to support a failed state which said it is wrong to transmit election process electronically simply because they had made people’s vote less counted as the right people have not been permitted to emerge as Nigeria leaders.

He noted that Nigeria rulers have shown her shame, failure and carelessness during the episode of last year in the heat of the CoronaVirus pandemic lockdown, when palliatives and relief materials meant for the Nigerians to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians were deliberately stolen from them, hoarded in warehouses across the country. It was described as flabbergasted to the nation and how the rulers hearts were found made of stone or flesh when the relief materials were deliberately stolen from them by the people in government across the length and breadth of Nigeria .

He however informed that the 50th celebration were lined up with series of featuring activities that began on Sunday 8th of August with the young ones of the parish (the missionary childhood Association, MCA) and the Catholic youth organisation of Nigeria, CYON.

Monday 9th August has featured a lecture on the Catholic church: a unity in diversity”. While Wednesday 11th of August 2021 shall feature age 65 years and above under the auspices of the Parish Elders Forum to feeding and feting the hungry and the non Catholic and catholics needy in the community.

Also there would be charity visits to the Pacelli School for the Blind and Partially sighted Children at Surulere and St. Monica’s Orphanage at Iju-Ishaga on Thursday 12th August.

On Friday 13th August 2021 has been set aside for a special anniversary luncheon with a public lecture and a book presentation. He said.

He said further that the week long programme’s grand finale scheduled for Saturday, 14th August 2021 with a Thanksgiving Mass in St. Leo’s Church at 10am.
