VISIT TO THE IMOTA DIVISIONAL POLICE STATION DPO, CSP ONI OMOLOLU BY THE NYCN IMOTA LCDA LOCAL BRANCH – www.cliptvonline.com ~

At the early hours of today Wednesday 10th February 2021, the third executive of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Imota Local Development Area Branch led by Comrade Folarin Awal Adegboyega takes another giant stride in his campaign against cultism programme by paying a courtesy visitation to the police boss of Imota Divisional Police Station, CSP, Oni Omololu at his office in Imota Police Station.

The courtesy visitation was birthed to serve as a means of strengthening youths and police relations in the community towards combating cultism and other criminal activities in the entire Imota LCDA and further re-activitated her campaign programme tagged: “Catch Them Young and Say No To Cultism” among the police officers.

The visitation also gave NYCN executive in the community another opportunity to have a round-table discussion with the head of Imota Divisional Police Officer on how to create synergy in promoting community policing in ensuring peace in the entire Imota LCDA

Other issues discussed include; ensuring the continuation of peace and security meeting, inauguration and empowerment of Joint Task Force (JTF) among all the security operatives in the town, establishment of a youth laison officer among others issues that toped the discussion and also serve as part of the ways to address all the insecurity challenges facing the town.

The DPO, CSP Oni Omololu in his response appreciated all the good works that the present administration of NYCN executive members had been doing particularly in the area of combating all the different security challenges that the community is facing recently.

He however lamented on the incessant killings among rival cult groups and re-affirmed the commitment of all police officers in the town towards ensuring that there is restoration of peace in the entire Imota LCDA.

It could be recalled that NYCN executive members and Imota Students Union launched a sensitization and campaign programme last two week in all the public primary schools in Imota LCDA so as to truly catch them young and ensured that no stone is left unturned.
