Workers Day: Xtralarge Revolutionizing Agriculture and Tourism | ClipTV Online

In an effort to mitigate unemployment, celebrate workers day, create food, promote healthy living, and increase farming in Nigeria, Xtralarge farm introduce AgriTech City. The city known as Xtralarge Resort was made acquainted to members of the public as Xtralarge farms hold a symposium to celebrate 2024 Workers Day.

The CEO, Dr. Seyi Abimbola Davids shared the vision and mission of Xtralarge, he mentioned that God is the initiator of the project. “I traveled back to Nigeria to be a farmer because God commanded me,” he said.

In an interview with our correspondent, Dr. Seyi underscored the importance of farming. He also outlined benefits of joining the Xtralarge Holiday Club which gives opportunity for members of the club to enjoy rest, leisure and fresh foods directly from the farm. Dr. Seyi mentioned different packages and benefits of been a member of Xtralarge. Benefits such as good health due to healthy food, tourism opportunity just to mention few.

The CEO encouraged people to engage in farming regardless of their status. He cited planting yam or tomatoes in sacks as examples. When you eat good foods other challenges are secondary.

While some members share various testimonies on how the Xtra Large farm has helped sustain good health, others recognize the firm as a source of prudent investment.

Farmer Aderoju Owosanya an Xtralarge Rescue agent for Lekki said Xtralarge is fusing agriculture and pleasure to generate income for people. He mentioned that this is the major reason of the day gathering, to educate people on how to tap into the Xtralarge opportunities. “Xtralarge is bringing agriculture and tourism together to generate extra income for all our members,” he said. “That is what we are doing here today,” he continued.

He underline that regardless of what people engage in, they can make additional income with Xtralarge. According to Aderoju, agriculture can be combine with your work and it provides you with easy access to food.

Xtralarge MD on Food Security
In her speech the Xtralarge MD, Dr. Moji Davids highlights that many of the farm products in Nigeria are imported from other countries. She mentioned Cola, Palm oil, Coconuts and others. “However, all this could be planted here in Nigeria,” she said. “Let’s make a change, everybody become a farmer” she continued.

Dr. Moji nodded that the income will not be immediate but Xtralarge has a plan for immediate, intermediate and future income. There will be a free training on how to make money now while also investing in the future. The training is however for those Xtralarge members on Holiday Club.

The holiday club allows members have vacation on Xtralarge resort. A member can come with spouse and two children to have fun while also enjoying the three (3) days training.

With the training, a member is ready to start up the business.

“As we train you on farming, we are also training you on farming risk management, accounting in farming, and marketing in farming,” the MD said.

Marathon
Lastly, she mentioned eight (8) days marathon. The 8days marathon help individuals to gain their sanity, improved health as they take prescribed food and time from Xtralarge.
