In a daring attack, criminals invaded the palace of the Emir, located 10 km away from Gurku, the main town in Karu local government area of Nasarawa state. The incident has sparked concern and urgency in the region.
Upon receiving the distress call, the state commissioner of police, Baba Maiyaki, wasted no time and swiftly deployed a combined team of operatives and vigilante group members to the scene. Despite their efforts, the criminals managed to evade capture, fleeing into surrounding bushes and mountains.
