Director-General of NCAC Urges Nigerians to Support Tinubu-led Administration, Prioritize National Unity | Cliptv Online

Chief Olusegun Runsewe, the Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), has called on Nigerians to rally behind the President Bola Tinubu-led administration and reject religious bigotry and ethnic divisions. During an interactive session in Abuja with the theme ‘Putting Nigeria First,’ Runsewe emphasized the need for national unity and collective focus on the country’s progress.

Despite the successful conclusion of the 2023 general elections and the swearing-in of President Tinubu in May, Runsewe observed that the nation is still caught in an election mood. He expressed concern over lingering issues surrounding ethnicity and religious differences, stressing the urgency to move the nation forward.

Highlighting President Tinubu’s promise of an all-inclusive government of national unity, reconciliation, and competence, Runsewe urged Nigerians to support the administration’s efforts in rebuilding the nation. He commended the President for demonstrating competence, commitment, and an unwavering resolve to restore hope in the Nigerian project.

The Director-General’s call for unity comes as an opportunity for Nigerians to work together and confront the task of building a better Nigeria. With a population of over 220 million and abundant natural and human resources, Nigeria holds immense potential for development and progress. However, Runsewe emphasized that harnessing these resources requires collective efforts and collaboration.
