IJEDE LCDA HOLDS RETREAT FOR YEAR 2021 BUDGET OF ACHIEVEMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY AT ROLAK HOTEL AND SUITES – www.cliptvonline.com ~

The Ijede LCDA under the leadership of *Hon.Fatiu Jimoh Salisu* held its Annual Budget Retreat,a statutory exercise for Budget Presentation and other budget related activities for Financial Year 2021 tagged ” *Budget of Achievement and Sustainability* ” at Rolak Hotel and Suites Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

The program which was well attended by all Executive Members led by the Council Chairman Hon.Fatiu Jimoh Salisu,Legislative Members under the leadership of *Hon.Akeem Shitta* , the Management Staff under  the Head of Administration *Mrs.Sonate Adebanji* ,the Revenue Team, Parliamentary members and other Key Council Officials.

The Budget Retreat Y2021 declared open by the number one citizen featured highly educative, technically informative and clinically presented lectures by highly reverred and seasoned technocrats amongst which are *Mr.Idowu Onafowote* General Manager Lagos State Public Procurement Agency on the Topic: *Public Procurement Process and Contract Management Strategy* , *Ayo Badejo* Ph.d,seasoned Accountant and Lawyer who spoke on ” *Budget Discipline:Panace to Proper Policy Implementation and* *Emergency Management* and *Mr.Wale Alabi* Director of Planning Lagos State Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs who discussed ” *Budget Implementation, Control and Monitoring in Government.*

The Participants were enthusiastic as they were clinically exposed to practical problem-like situations and real life solutions on Strategic Procurement, Contract Management,  Budget Procedures,  Implementation and follow-up amongst others with the aim of preparing them for the 2021 Financial Year and make the very best out of it while ensuring a better and more developed Ijede LCDA that caters for all.

Heads of Departments in the LCDA ranging from Chairman’s Office,Vice Chairman’s Office,  Council Scribe,Legislative arm, Works and Infrastructure, Human Resources, Education, Legal, Procurement, Women and Poverty Alleviation,Youth and Sports, Health,Finance,Revenue Team,  Information and Public Relations  etc took their turns to present their departmental Budgets and analyse the why’s and how’s the lines and figures were vital and crucial to the Budget’s theme and translate to wholistic socio-economic,  infrastructural development and sustainability of Ijede LCDA.

The Council Chairman appreciated the Executive Members, Legislators, Management Staff and other Participants at the Retreat for their genuine support and understanding since the inception of the administration,  applauded their sacrifice, commitment and dedication to the growth and development of Ijede LCDA and solicit more of it in the Year 2021 while assuring them of playing his part towards their goal actualization and career dream.

The Leader of the House, Hon.Akeem Shitta and other members of the Legislative arm applauded the exercise and eulogised the synergy currently in place between the Executive and Legislative arm of the LCDA as a veritable tool for good and reputable governance at the grassroots level and would therefore benefits the populace.

The Participants in their contributions alluded to the fact that the Proposed Budget Year 2021 when finally presented by the Executive arm and eventually approved by the Legislators would in no small way affects the lives of good people of Ijede LCDA positively.
