In a display of solidarity, Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA) outgoing Executive Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Kunle Agoro has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected Chairman, Hon Benson Sunday Ayodele, who currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Local Government.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Agoro hailed Benson’s emergence as a product of dedication, loyalty, and hard work over the years.
“Hon Benson’s victory is a reward for consistency and service. As the current Vice Chairman, he has proven to be dependable, visionary, and committed to the progress of our LCDA. His elevation to the Chairman is not just well-deserved — it is destined.
“As the LCDA outgoing Executive Chairman, I stand with a heart full of gratitude to witness the official presentation of the Certificates of Return to Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele, his running mate, Princess Abisoye Omowunmi Jimoh and the four elected Councilors:

The outgoing Chairman noted that it is rare for a serving Vice Chairman to gain the overwhelming trust and support of both the party and the people, and described Benson’s victory as a unique political milestone.
Hon. Agoro expressed joy that he is handing over to someone who shares the same developmental vision and has been part of the journey from day one.
He urged the incoming Chairman to remain focused, carry everyone along, and keep the people at the center of his administration
