Kano State Police Celebrate Surrender of 12 Infamous Drummers Linked to Thuggery | Cliptv Online

In a significant turn of events, twelve drummers/singers, locally known as “Masu Kidan Gangi,” notorious for playing instigator roles in promoting thuggery-related activities in Kano State, have voluntarily surrendered to the Kano State Police Command. The surrender marks a positive stride in the ongoing efforts to eradicate criminal activities and uphold law and order in the state.

The drummers, primarily from Rijiyar Lemo and Kurna Quarters, were identified as instigators who played roles in activities related to thuggery, particularly during hunting exercises. The recent decline in thuggery-related incidents in Dala and its environs is attributed to the collaborative efforts of the police and the communities.

The public is urged to rejoice in this development, as these individuals have acknowledged their past mistakes, willingly surrendered to the Police Command, and pledged to refrain from promoting conflict. The police command recognizes the cooperation of the people of Kano State and encourages more engagement to identify and persuade other individuals involved in criminal acts to surrender voluntarily.

Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Usaini Gumel, FIPMA, psc, applauds the citizens for their confidence and support. He warns those still engaged in criminal activities to take this opportunity to follow the path of voluntary surrender, assuring that the Police Command will provide necessary support for their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.

The Police Command reiterates its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all residents in the state, urging the public to report any suspicious activities to the nearest Police Station or through emergency contacts. The Commissioner of Police expresses gratitude for the continuous support and cooperation of the people of Kano State and encourages vigilance for a secure and peaceful environment.
