In his final moments, Miller had an encounter with renowned opera singer Michael Ballam and his son Ben. During this visit, Miller made a heartfelt request: that they sing the last verse of ‘Praise to the Man,’ a hymn dedicated to Joseph Smith, with a poignant alteration. Instead of “millions shall know Brother Joseph again,” Miller asked them to sing, “billions shall know Brother Joseph again.” As the words filled the room, tears welled in Miller’s eyes.
