It is another yuletide season and as the world celebrates this year Christmas festival, the executive cabinet of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Imota Local Council Development Area Branch led by Comrade Folarin Adegboyega Awal in his goodwill message felicitates with all the Christians and youths accross the entire Imota LCDA to follow all the warnings and safety precautions against COVID-19 pandemic as we celebrate and mark the birth of Jesus Christ.

In a press statement released from the office of the Coordinator of the Youth Council, Comrade Folarin Adegboyega Awal charges the entire youths in Imota community to emulate the life of Jesus Christ which he identified ranging from obedience, sacrifice and humility among many others as some of the virtues that distinguished Jesus Christ and should be emulated.

The Coordinator of the Youth Council in Imota LCDA Local Branch, Comrade Folarin Adegboyega Awal urged everyone to use the occasion of the Christmas celebration to imbibe in the spirit of God’s service to humanity.

“Christmas, which is celebrated every December 25, it is important that we remind ourselves the reason for this celebration which include  demonstrating utmost love, charity and peace for one another. So, I want to use this medium to advise the entire Christians and the youths in Imota LCDA to let us all continue to be diligent and stay safe during this festive period”

“The need for the youths to note that all  human beings, irrespective of their religious beliefs were from the same parents and one lesson from this season is the birth of Christ which is the basic essence of celebrating Christmas”

Comrade Folarin further appeal to all the residents and youths across the entire communities in Imota LCDA to continue to adhere to preventive measures and take personal responsibilities as ordered by health workers and to remain safe as we battle against the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic.
