In a decisive move following the recent massacre in Plateau State, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun arrived in Jos, orchestrating a series of strategic actions to address the escalating crisis. Deployment of Tactical Teams and Equipment:
IGP Egbetokun wasted no time in ordering the deployment of tactical teams and essential equipment to the affected areas. The move aims to reinforce security measures and bring a swift end to the wave of violence that has claimed numerous lives.
Relocation of AIG Zone 4 to Plateau State:
Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the IGP issued a directive for the relocation of the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police, Zone 4, to Plateau State with immediate effect. IGP Egbetokun met with the Executive Governor of Plateau State, H.E Caleb Mutfwang, at the New Government House in Little Rayfield, Jos.
