The Executive Chairman of Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele (BSA), has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to youth empowerment with the successful hosting of “A Day With the Executive Chairman of Imota LCDA,” an event held in celebration of the 2025 National Youth Day.
As part of the landmark occasion, six undergraduate students from Imota LCDA received financial support of ₦50,000 each to assist with their academic needs and to promote educational excellence among young residents of the community.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Benson emphasized that youth are the backbone of national development and deserve sustained investment and opportunities that encourage innovation, personal growth, and meaningful engagement in society.
“We are determined to ensure that our youths discover their purpose beyond the streets. This initiative is only the beginning of greater efforts aimed at nurturing their potentials,” he stated.

The event featured inspiring keynote and panel discussions hosted by notable youth leaders and professionals, focused on strengthening capacity, boosting morale, and encouraging community-driven participation among Imota youths.
