Bauchi:Governor Bala Signs New Six Bills Into Law | ClipTV Online

His Excellency The Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed CON Kauran Bauchi Jagaban Katagum, has today signed six bills into law for further development and transformation in Bauchi State.
 
The bills are Sa’adu Zungur University Bill 2024, Bauchi State Farmers and Herders Board Law, and Bauchi State Primary Health Care Development Board Law. 
 
According to the Governor, others are the Bauchi State Rural Access Road Law, the Bauchi State Children Access to Basic Education Law, and a law to establish the Border Communities Development Agency 2024. 

The Governor also explained that the objective of the bills is to explore opportunities for job creation, access to education, and provide adequate security, safety, and worth for our people, both living in rural and urban settlements.
 
The Governor commented that the members of the State House of Assembly studied the details of the bills before passing them for assent, pointing out that these showed the cordial relationship between the legislatures and the executive arms of the government.

 
Speaking earlier, the Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Hon. Abubakar Y. Sulaiman, said all the laws and bills were carefully scrutinized by the legislative members in line with the developmental trends of the state, and if properly implemented, they would have a direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state as well as serve as a means to reduce the high rate of unemployment among the masses. 
 
He called on the people to continue to support the present administration, adding that the infrastructure and other developmental projects recorded in the past were the product of cordial relationship-building cooperation between the legislative and executive arms of the government.
