Lokoja Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Muhammed Danasabe Muhammed, Passes Away

In a tragic turn of events, Hon. Muhammed Danasabe Muhammed, the Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Council, has passed away. The Chairman reportedly collapsed at his residence and was rushed to Shifa Hospital in Lokoja, where he was confirmed dead around 4:30 am.
The late Chairman was an active participant in various political meetings in preparation for the upcoming governorship election in Kogi State, scheduled for Saturday. Family sources indicate that he was taken to the hospital shortly after collapsing at home on Thursday evening.
A family member, who chose to remain anonymous, mentioned that doctors declared him clinically dead early on Friday morning. Hon. Muhammed was from ward B in the cantonment area of Lokoja.
He is set to be buried at the Unguwan Kura Muslim cemetery following the Juma’at prayer on Friday. Condolences have been pouring in as sympathizers visit his family house in the cantonment area of Lokoja.
The deceased, survived by his mother, wife, and children, had been an integral part of political activities in the region. The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lokoja, Talba Lakwaja, officially confirmed the Chairman’s passing and shared details of the burial arrangements in a statement.
