The 2024 Lagos State Community Day was a resounding success as communities across the state gathered to celebrate unity, resilience, and grassroots development. The event, hosted by Hon. Nurudeen Yekini-Agbaje, Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development and Chieftaincy Affairs, brought together dignitaries, community leaders, and over 5,000 Community Development Associations (CDAs) at the Lagos State Police College.

Notable attendees included the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, ESV Hon. Hakeem Ejalonibu Amodu, Hon. Usman Akanbi Hamzat (UAH) HRM, Oba Ajibade Agoro, HRM, Oba Hammed Adeyemi Aremu Orelope-Laka, the Elegbeda of Egbeda alongside other distinguished personalities.

It provides an opportunity to reflect on fostering peaceful coexistence, irrespective of religious, cultural, or social backgrounds.”
