The completion and commissioning of the Igbalu Market in Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA) have garnered widespread praise for Hon. Babajimi Benson, the Federal House of Representatives Member. The market, inaugurated on Sunday by Hon. Benson, has quickly become a focal point of community discussion and admiration.
The new market features 40 key clamp stalls and is equipped with solar street lights, ensuring a sustainable and secure environment for both traders and visitors.
Hon. Babajimi Benson urged the traders to maintain the stalls properly. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the partners who made this project possible, stating, “I express my heartfelt gratitude to the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA), iCare Foundation, Community Development Associations (CDAs), religious leaders, and all the community stakeholders who played a crucial role in attracting and supporting the development of the Igbalu Market.”

Hon. Benson, who has previously facilitated several projects such as food distributions for the vulnerable, solar-powered boreholes, and solar-powered appliances, reaffirmed his commitment to the community. He concluded the session by thanking the stakeholders, saying, “Thank you for your unwavering support and commitment to the development of our community.”
