LASODA Charges PWDS To Come Out In The Lagos Local Govt. Election – ClipTv Online

The persons living with the disabilities (PWDS) have been urged to be physically attached to perform their civic responsibility to vote in the Lagos state local government chairmanship election without fear.

The General Manager for the Lagos state office for disability Affairs (LASODA) Mr. Dare Ogundairo revealed this recently at the LASODA feast held at the Ndubuisi KANU park Alausa Secretariat Ikeja tagged “Unite to reverse the impact of COVID 19 pandemic on special children” that the PWDS were not useless and deserved to be celebrated and be taught on the acceptable safety etiquettes of the covid 19 pandemic.

The general manager said that the Lagos State government has been committed to celebrate and include the persons with disability and the special children with good sense of belonging to make them feel better in the society even with the provision of games, music and refreshments.

He however urged the parents to guide them appropriately to be covid 19 compliance for their safety and prayed that God should allow no covid 19 pandemic lockdown again .

The President of the Association for the intellectual and developmental disability, Mrs. Joko Omotola expressed that every care giver’s hands must be on deck to guide their special children to use soap and water, hand sanitiser and face mask and keep social distance for their safety and to be sure that the fight against covid 19 pandemic was not left to the government alone.
