In a press briefing held in Lagos, the Tinubu/Shettima Movement (TSM) has voiced its concerns about the current state of the nation. The national chairman of the movement, Hon. Stephen Agbi, emphasized that they share the pain of the people but urged stakeholders to give President Bola Ahmed Tinubu the time and space needed to effectively address the challenges facing the country. He called for patience and reminded Nigerians that “Rome Was Not Built in a Day.”
Addressing the media, Hon. Tope Sanya, a member of the movement, expressed his worries about the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and its role in the nation’s affairs. He asserted that the NLC has been compromised and should not be allowed to lead Nigerians astray.
The Tinubu/Shettima Movement, known for its advocacy of progressive ideals and development-oriented policies, believes that the nation’s problems require careful consideration and strategic planning to be effectively resolved. According to Hon. Stephen Agbi, President Tinubu needs time to implement necessary reforms and policies that will lead the country towards progress and prosperity.
Amidst various challenges faced by the country, including economic issues, security concerns, and social unrest, the TSM urged Nigerians to be patient and avoid distractions that may hinder the government’s efforts. They emphasized that achieving meaningful change and sustainable progress requires a collective commitment from all stakeholders, including citizens, to support the government’s initiatives.
The movement expressed their belief in President Tinubu’s leadership capabilities and his vision for the nation. They called on Nigerians to rally behind him and offer constructive criticism rather than resorting to strikes or other disruptive actions that could derail the nation’s progress.
During the press briefing, the Tinubu/Shettima Movement also highlighted their commitment to advocating for positive change and empowering Nigerians, particularly the youth, to actively participate in nation-building. They stressed the importance of fostering an environment that encourages entrepreneurship, job creation, and economic growth.
As the nation faces numerous challenges, the Tinubu/Shettima Movement remains steadfast in its support for President Tinubu’s leadership and his commitment to driving Nigeria towards a brighter future. They concluded the press briefing by calling for unity and cooperation among all Nigerians in building a strong, prosperous, and united nation.
