In alignment with the ONWARD Agenda for the good people of Ward B in Imota Local Council Development Area, the APC Conference of Zonal Chairmen in Ward B of Imota LCDA today, April 26, 2025, comes together to unanimously endorse Hon. Olumide Adeleke Shofowora (Onward) as the candidate for the position of Councillor representing Ward B in the upcoming Local Government Elections.

The meeting which followed after Hon. Shofowora submission of his party nomination form, and it witnessed the presence of the team members of the Onward Campaign Committee and Zonal Chairmen across Ward B, who publicly and officially declared their support for Hon. Olumide Adeleke Shofowora’s aspiration. They discussed his campaign agenda and familiarized them with his manifesto, among other topics.

During the meeting, Hon. Owoyele Luqman, the Ward A Coordinator of the Omo Ologo Team, introduced Hon. Olumide A. Shofowora and highlighted his achievements as a student union and community leader both in Imota LCDA and beyond.

The Onward Campaign Committee, led by Hon. Olumide A. Adeleke, presented his campaign manifesto titled “ONWARD Agenda.” He outlined his proposed programmes and projects aimed at benefiting all residents of Ward B. He solicited support from all zonal chairmen, promising to fulfil his commitments.

Hon. Shofowora stated that he would keep all campaign promises and expressed appreciation to the zonal chairmen for their support and interest in his candidacy.

After extensive deliberation, Hon (Mrs.) Ayedun, the Chair of Chair for Ward B Zonal Chairmen, appreciated the aspiration of Hon. Shofowora and encouraged him to continue on the journey to contest in the upcoming APC Primary Election, citing his excellent track record.

Also, Hon. Abiodun Olayinka, the Secretary of the Conference of Zonal Chairmen in Ward B, praised Hon. Shofowora’s ambition and recounted some of the positive contributions he has made to the development of Ward B and Imota LCDA as a whole.

The meeting ended with a show of solidarity and confidence from the Conference of Zonal Chairmen in Ward B, endorsing Hon. Shofowora’s candidacy and affirming their support for him as the next Councillor of Ward B in Imota LCDA.
