POWA President Engages in Three-Day Empowerment Crusade, Garners Support from Delta Governor | Cliptv Online

Dr. (Mrs.) Elizabeth Egbetokun, POWA’s National President, embarks on a comprehensive visit to Delta State.

Accompanied by top POWA officials, including spouses of DIGs, AIGs, and CPs, she arrives on February 16, 2024.

With a focused agenda spanning welfare, health, and education, Egbetokun prioritizes impactful initiatives.

Her visit kicks off with a courtesy call to CP Abaniwonda Olufemi and other Command officials, fostering collaboration.

On February 17, 2024, Egbetokun hosts an Empowerment Program at Orchid Hotel, Asaba, empowering 155 vulnerable women.

These beneficiaries include widows of deceased police officers, whom she acknowledges for their resilience and sacrifices.

During interactions, Egbetokun emphasizes empowerment as a catalyst for societal progress and pledges ongoing support.

She pays homage to Delta’s traditional rulers, visiting the Palace of the Olu of Warri Kingdom and the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom.

At Asagba’s Palace in Asaba, she extends condolences on the demise of HRM Obi (Prof) Joseph Chike Edozien CFR, JP.

Continuing her engagements, on February 19, 2024, Egbetokun meets with Delta Governor RT (Hon) Sheriff Oborevwori.

During the meeting, the Governor assures unwavering support for POWA’s vital mandates and initiatives.
